Service Description
For clients dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and trauma, attending therapy once a week can help begin to restore chemical balance in the brain—although therapy does not work like medication. It typically takes at least three months to observe significant improvements. There are no major drawbacks to therapy, but it’s important to understand that meaningful change takes time. During the course of therapy, clients are often encouraged to make major life changes, such as developing healthier habits, improving physical health, and addressing underlying emotional issues. Mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, and progress in one area can support healing in the other.
